Kids participating the Melih Yalcineli Young lnventors program will learn in over 200 games, competitions and active learning activities with the following practical and unexpensive materials that can be found at homes or supermarkets.

•        Disposable materials : Nylon bag, plastic bottle, cola can , glas bottle, drinking straw, toothpick, paper towel, paper cup, sheet of aluminium, newspaper, shooe box, rubber band, can of tomato paste, lid of detergent container, bottle cork, marble, mermer, soil

•        Pots and pans: Dish, plate, saucepan, glass, fork, spoon, service spoon, spatula, knife, strainer, funnel, rolling pin, glass jar, rubber glove, detergent, match, tray of pastry

•        Foods: Black pepper, water, ice, salt, sugar, oil, lemon, vinegar, carbonate, cornflour, milk, egg, sugar powder, black cabbage, jam

•        Sewing and clothing materials: Thread, needle, button, rope, cord, string, woollen jacket, handkerchief, scissors

•        Bathroom materials: Soap, cotton, comb, bowl, battub, mirror, tap, plastic bucket, hair drying machine, toilet paper, clothes pin, cologne

•        Tools: Hose, hammer, pliers, nail, cables, candle, neon-tester, florescent lamp

•        Furniture: Carpet, chair, table, lamp, tripod, television, refrigerator, microwave oven, iron

•        Other household materials: Hanger, door knocker, clock, watch, camera, aquarium tube, ruler, handle for broom, earphone, battery, medicine dropper

•        Game materials: playing cards, dice, playing piece, playdough, balloon, laser pointer marble , magnet, magnifier, pinpon ball, basketball, tennis ball
