Idea/Project

When we analyze the problem we observe different aspects. There is not sufficient interest and support in experimental science education, educators are not trained well, avaliable educational approaches are not interesting to children, and science equipments are abundant and satisfactory.  ..My project eliminate the need to special science laboratory equipments, it brings magic and creative competitions concept to create attention and curiosity. I designed activity plans to reach directly to children by TV , voluntary movement cdrom, internet and other tools so there is no need to budget and time to train of 400 thousand primary school teachers. Actually my plan is creating a perfect model so that masses are impressed and they follow you like a fashion or trend . I want tu use all media communication and marketing tools , sponsors supported community activities, voluntary and career focused movement in young teachers and fundraising activities.

In order to motivate children to science and inventions I will use magic and entertaining competition games concept . I also use my project management skills coming from my experiences in dogan media group national elaearning project, world bank financed community employment project and european commision funded education reform project.

Children in primary school age are not interested by conventional direct science teaching methods. If these methods would be functional then there would be no need to make an extra effort to create projects like mine. We have observed that children are really very much interested to have great powers like magic in Harry Potter films and books. So I decided to use discrepant events , astonishing, surprising, counterintuitive, and paradoxical phenomena, which are interest arousing and motivational to children . But since Turkey is very big and economically not developed I preferred not use science lab equipments.
