MUDURNU - BOLU

I have been born in Mudurnu,a small town of Bolu, in a summer day of 1965. In this photograph I am only one year old. . My father was an army officer and my mother was housewife. In the above photograph you can see my father 23 years old and mother 17 years old thanks to both of them

BİNGÖL

We have moved to Bingöl after one year of my birth. We have lived in bingöl for three years.My brother Salih was born in 1967.In the following photograph you can see us together in the garden of my father's working office in the autumn of that year. Winters were very cold and snowy in Bingöl. I remember a few scene from Bingöl.One was finding a snake in the backyard of my father's working office.Another is reported from my father.He said that I was very sick and could go to toilet.He hurried to reach the hospital in Elazığ 200 km away with a car and I was get rid of the trouble a few km to Elazığ on the way.All the dresses of my father was dirty but he was happy!

GAZİANTEP-İSLAHİYE

We have moved to Gaziantep -İslahiye in 1969. We have lived there for 3 years. I remember lots of events from those years. We have been living in a house with a garden. This house was very near to my aunt' Ayşe Can's house.We were playing with her children Muhsin ,Mesut ,Hilal, Hülya Süheyla and Zekiye. We were usually watching films from my aunt's house's windows which was very near to the open summer cinema.We were playing football in an open area of our house.I started to go to grocer or butcher a few hundred meters away from our house which is a sign of trust of my mother to me.

I remember my primary school's books, the celebrating day we started to reading, and some of my friends.My teacher was one of our relatives Kemal Can. He was very helpful to me. I remember a dance with a beatiful girl friend in the end of the school year and a theater of Karagöz &Hacivat play. Especially Hakan Karahan was my close friend and his house was next to ours.We were good friends but sometimes we were also fighting for small matters such as money.We were playing games with his elder brothers such as "tavla" .He was very bright and now he is working as a doctor.I also remember that I had some illnesses with fever.I also remember that I fell down from the stairs and bees had beaten me one one day .

There was not any TV broadcast in those years .My father had brought a new TV ,SABA and we were getting some dilute pictures from Syria.Later on we had used that TV to watch TV programs in Izmir three times a week on evenings.My father was visiting Kilis frequently and was bringing gifts every time mostly small cars. My father had a motorbike nad he had very bad accident with it.He then had got a taunus model car and then he had bought an Anadol model car for 45 thousand TL in 1974.K.Maras our country was very near to Islahiye and we were visiting our relatives , my grandmother, grandfathers and other frequently.
